Day 3 - Sentiers du Moulin

On the program: a crescendo leading to the Maelstrom area, beginning with a rolling tour of the easier trails on the SDM side: Raph, Gros Buck, Montée Ninja, Fabuleuse and then a return to the Raph. Cross to the Maelstrom area to climb to the summit plateau via La Tourbillon. Once at the top, follow Crête du Lynx, Vortex, Klondike, re-Crête du Lynx, and for the return, descend via Maelstrom. A total of about 25 km including a lot of variety and the unique atmosphere of the Maelstrom to end a splendid day. For riders seeking an additional challenge, consider adding the Slab City trail, known for its mile-long slab, and the rigorous Klondike climb to get back to the summit plateau.

Day 4 - Mont-Sainte-Anne

Even if you start from the top, you will climb the equivalent of the height of Mont-Sainte-Anne at least once. Warm up by descending La Grisante, then branch off into the cross-country network on La Marais du Nord and La Dryade, followed by 2.0 Montant, Riverside and Longue-Rive, which will give you a good old old-fashioned riding experience. Then begin your tour of the trails near the campsite which will take you to L'Adorila, the Arête and Avenue Royale. Then all you have to do is go up (and up, and up!) to La Vietnam via La Keuleuleu, La Coupe and L'Échappée and you will have covered a total of around 40 km.
